Former Texas Governor, Dolph Briscoe, believes in keeping it all in the family. This ethic has kept the ranch 100% family owned and operated for many years. Mr. Briscoe was the first governor to be elected to a four-year term with his victory in 1974. After a successful political career, Briscoe returned to Uvalde to manage his families ranching and business interests.
